News & updates

We are holding Bargaining Unit Meetings for all 3 units this December!  Learn about how your Bargaining Unit plans to win big with our bargaining proposals for the next contract.

Bargaining starts in January 2024!

Throughout Fall 2023 Semester, The Federation is hosting a series of General Membership meetings to help us as a union further discuss and get input on our bargaining platform for 2024.

Please take a moment to register for these meetings. Add them to your calendars! We encourage members who can attend in-person to do that, but will offer a Zoom option for those who cannot make it to campus.

Get more in 2024!

Our current contracts for all 3 Bargaining Units will expire August 31, 2024.

We plan on returning to the bargaining table a year from now, in January 2024. In preparation for that, we are asking all faculty and staff to take this brief survey:

We want to hear about what you want and deserve in your specific area of work. In the Get More in 2024 survey, we ask you to identify 3 things you would change about your working conditions.

This year we will go through a process of identifying problems with our working conditions and coming up with a bargaining platform to address those problems. Our goal is to engage in a democratic process that results in a platform we are all excited to win - both for ourselves and our students.
