Staff
Use industry standards (e.g., number of FTE students, square footage, number of workstations, number of tickets, number of devices, etc., depending on area) to determine staffing in the following departments: Advising, Allied Health, Facilities, Environmental Services, Library, Multimedia Services, Information Technology.
Full Time Faculty
Fully-released 12-month Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coordinator. The DEI Coordinator will be charged with coordinating the Diversity Fellowship, Diversity Certificate, dispersing diversity recruitment focused money from the travel fund and building the necessary College-wide structures and hiring pipelines needed to diversify the Full-Time Faculty body (Article VIII).
100% released time for Department Heads of Counseling, Advising and Library. 50% released time for an Assistant Department Head in Counseling, Advising and the Library. (Article VIII Sections C, D and E).
Fair compensation and leadership structure for faculty leaders, including Curriculum Coordinators and other faculty in charge of programs and degrees (Article XVI). Detailed proposal attached.

Staffing ratios in Advising and Counseling and guaranteed positions in Learning Lab and Library (Article VIII)

Faculty in departments where the 27 credit/33 contact hour workload is not available shall have the option of the 24 credit/ 30 contact workload.
Any department offering two or more laboratory classes shall be required to employ a Rank A or B faculty member.

For Counseling, Advising, Learning Lab, Library: incorporate remote work agreement into CBA guaranteeing 2 day per week remote.

Part Time Faculty / Visiting Lecturers
Each semester, 100 credit hours of budgeted released and extended time for PT Faculty for participation on committees, work on departmental projects, service toward college initiatives, student consultations outside of class time, course development, and preparation time.
