Salary Schedule and salary match for current staff when outside hire for the same position with commensurate experience and education starts at a higher salary.

Bring the number of sabbaticals back to 5% of the faculty. Modify sabbatical to include option for full-year sabbatical at 75% pay

Part Time Faculty / Visiting Lecturers

Step movement for VLs (see detailed proposal)
15% Course Cancellation Fee for faculty who lose courses/hours within 1 week of start date
Appointment letters sent electronically to all faculty assigned courses and/or hourly work each semester with seniority pool, pay rate, pay periods, and dates of employment.
New criteria to earn a seniority point: 1 point earned for completion of work in a semester as defined by that semester’s Appointment Letter
VLs lose 1 VL seniority unit per semester (instead of 2) after 4 semesters of not having a VL.
PT/VLs who lost seniority due to COVID-19 Pandemic will have their seniority reinstated immediately. Back pay for work completed and paid at lower seniority/pool rates.
A dedicated space at Main Campus for PT/VLs
Four sections per academic year of Release/Extended time for a dedicated PT/VL resource coordinator (1 section per semester: Fall, Spring, Summer I, Summer II)
Service Award recognition of PT/VLs in Pool VI or higher (20 seniority points or more).
