[As of 3.3.25] The Federation and the College have come to agreement on several of the Federation's bargaining demands. Here is a list of agreed-upon proposals:
All 3 Units:
Payroll errors: if an employee is overpaid due to administrative error, the college will not seek repayment after 1 year from date of error*
Changes to Health and Safety Committee: will be led by co-chairs, including a Federation appointee; will create and monitor a health and safety communications system, including a rapid response system; will make recommendations for PPE needs; will make recommendations for policy to respond to poor air quality days; will make recommendations for College policy on temperature and noise on campus; in event of health emergency, will form a response team*
Add gender to non-discrimination statement*
Updated language to be more inclusive of domestic partnerships*
Dental benefits for dependent care up to age 26*
No premiums for full-time employees making under $60,000*
Retiree healthcare will include coverage for Shingrix vaccine (CE and FT Faculty)*
Students allowed to serve on the Technology Coordinating Committee
Full-Time Faculty:
12 month FT Faculty: use of up to 4 sick days per year for dependent care, except during restricted periods and provided personal days are exhausted*
Replace “Instructional Aide” with “Instructional Technologist”*
Remove subtraction table for calculating starting salaries*
Part Time Faculty / Visiting Lecturers:
Appointment letters to all faculty assigned work with seniority pool, pay rate, pay periods and dates of employment.*
Service award recognition
Classified Employees:
Eliminate typing/steno retesting when already qualified*
Eliminate 1 year waiting period for FT Classified and 2 year waiting period for PT Classified for retirement match*
Increase overtime lunch and dinner stipends to $10 for lunch and $20 for dinner*
Federation representative at new employee orientation
Grievance investigation time for General Officers
$20/hr year 1 Grade 2 minimum with $1 differential between each grade and creation of grades 9 and 10*
