Open bargaining sessions

Attend UArts Faculty Open Bargaining on Zoom December 7 & 13!

Part-time and Full-time Faculty at UArts have been negotiating for their first union contract with United Academics of Philadelphia, AFT Local 9608, for over 20 months.

The UArts administration has finally provided their initial responses to our pay & benefits proposals, and they fail to address key issues including a transparent step system for raises with years of services, professional development funds, healthcare subsidies, and retirement matching for adjunct faculty.

The two bargaining sessions this month for UArts Faculty will be instrumental in pushing back on these incomplete and unsatisfactory responses.

All supporters are encouraged to log on to support UArts Faculty at their two bargaining sessions this month!

Sessions are Wednesday Dec 7th and Tuesday December 13th, both 3-5pm.

You can log on to show your support for as little as 30 minutes.
